Medical Core Rotation Objectives
The goal is to create a medical campus, within an existing ACGME accredited facility.
The key factor to begin the process, is an institution which is already training residents, willing to host an independent graduate program to train and recruit physicians.
The core objectives are different for each specialty, and we are willing to discuss in detail the curriculum for each of our clients. Our clients are Medical Schools which are accredited by USMLE to sit for licensure examinations in the U.S.A. We take this one step further, and only deal with the top tier programs; characterized by a high success rate in obtaining matches with post graduate specialties in the U.S.A.
We demand that all applicants pass step 1 of the USMLE,have appropriate immigration status and health profiles. Each participant will have malpractice provided by the medical school and the Dean’s recommendation.
The first step is to agree in principal to a mutual strategic plan for implementation. Key points are: 1. financial agreement 2. Affiliation between hospital and medical school 3. Management agreement 4. Infrastructure staff, location, budget, schedule…
It is important to note that we are not brokers, nor are we employed by any specific institution.
Our job is to be the liaisons between participating parties to expedite a mutually beneficial relationship.
Puerto Rico is of particular interest because ‘hispanoparlantes’ are an ever increasing part of the socioeconomic component of every major city in the U.S. San Juan has the unique characteristic of having ACGME accredited hospitals, a score of board certified physicians to be mentors, and a wealth of patients to evaluate.
Part of our responsibility is to recruit the students, and bring the Dean and executive team of each school to meet with the comparative members of the Puerto Rico participants.
What makes our program unique is that there are no financial obligations for the host.
We guarantee upfront payment before any program begins. In tough economic times, the stipend can be in excess of 1 million per year.
The details must wait until we have confidentiality agreements in place.
